Most issues come down to a permission or an audio source. Here is each one, with the fix.
The window is not appearing
It is most likely hidden. Press ⌘+\ to show it, or ⌥+Space to bring it to the front. On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl in place of ⌘. If you moved it with the arrow keys or unplugged a display, quit and reopen Sayli.
The Dock icon is a tiny dot
On macOS the Dock can shrink Sayli's icon to a dot that takes no room, and
it keeps the dot even after Sayli restarts. Open Terminal and run
killall Dock, or log out and back in. The Dock restarts in a moment and
every icon comes back at full size. Nothing in Sayli is lost.
Help me is not doing anything
Open Settings, then Audio, pick your microphone, and press Test your mic. If the meter does not move when you speak, pick another device. Sayli needs to have heard something before it can tell you what to say next. If the other side of the call is silent in the transcript, check the system audio permission in Permissions & setup.
The brief never arrived
Open Meetings and find the call. The brief appears there a few seconds after the call ends. A call that was too short, or had almost nothing said, gets a note saying so instead of a brief. If someone emailed you a brief, check your spam folder.
The app keeps asking for permissions
On macOS, reset the permission in System Settings under Privacy & Security, then grant it once more and restart Sayli. On Windows, check the microphone privacy switch in Settings; Windows blocks desktop apps when it is off and shows no dialog about it.
I am stuck in a sign-in loop
Sign in with an emailed code instead of Google or Apple. The code is single-use and good for ten minutes, and five wrong tries use it up, so ask for a fresh one rather than retyping. Still stuck? Write to support@sayli.ai.
On Linux, I sign in again every launch
Sayli will not write your session to disk without a real keyring, because
the fallback Chromium offers on Linux is plaintext with extra steps.

Someone saw Sayli on my screen share
Check your platform. On Windows the window is removed from the capture outright, from build 19041 onward; on an older Windows 10 build it becomes a black box instead. On macOS 26 and later it is removed too. On macOS 13 to 15 it is not confirmed for every screen-share app, so share a single window rather than your whole screen if it matters. On Linux it cannot be kept out at all: share a single window, or keep Sayli on a display you are not sharing. The full statement is at What each platform delivers.
Answers feel slow
Answers stream, so you can read as they arrive. A weak connection slows the first words. If it persists, check your network and try again, and tell us at support@sayli.ai: we watch answer speed closely.
