Connect Sayli to ChatGPT and your meeting history is there when you need it: what was decided, what you promised, and what is still open, each line with the call it came from.
Sayli is read-only in ChatGPT. It does not listen to calls, record, send, or change anything. Calls are recorded with the Sayli desktop app, or imported into Sayli as transcripts.
What you can ask
Every line ChatGPT shows as evidence is read from a brief Sayli wrote after a call. The summary and the suggested questions are ChatGPT's, and are labelled that way. Each source has an "Open in Sayli" link that opens the call in the desktop app.
Connect
In Sayli, open Connections and find "Let your AI ask about your own
meetings". Copy the link. It is https://api.sayli.ai/api/v1/mcp.
In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. Open Plugins, select the plus button, and paste the link.
ChatGPT opens a Sayli page. Sign in the way you always do, pick the workspace to connect, and approve. If you belong to more than one workspace, you choose one. To read another, connect it as well.
What ChatGPT can read
The connection reads what you can already see in that Sayli workspace, and nothing else:
- briefs, decisions, action items and open questions
- short transcript snippets when you ask for the words that were said
- documents in your workspace's knowledge base, when you search
An Owner or Admin can see every call in the workspace, so their connection can too. A Viewer reads what was shared with them. If you leave a workspace, the connection stops working.
Preparing for a call starts from your own calls. Ask ChatGPT to include your team's and it adds calls shared with the team or the workspace. A colleague's private call is never pulled into a preparation, whatever your role.
What ChatGPT does with what it reads is covered by ChatGPT's own terms, which you agreed to when you signed up for it. Sayli's side is in the Privacy Policy.
What Sayli records
Every read through the connection is written to your workspace's audit log:
which tool, when, and what was asked. Workspaces with webhooks also get an
mcp.tool_called event. Sayli counts how often the connection is used, never
what was asked.
Disconnect
In Sayli, open Connections, find "Let your AI ask about your own meetings", and choose Disconnect on ChatGPT. Access ends at once. You can also remove Sayli in ChatGPT.
When something is off
ChatGPT says to connect Sayli again
The connection lost its workspace, usually because you left it or the connection was removed in Sayli. Connect again and choose a workspace.
It finds nothing about a company
Ask with the name alone, the way it appears in a call title or was said on the call. Sayli searches your own calls first. Ask ChatGPT to include calls your team shared if the call was a colleague's.
There are no calls yet
Record a call with the Sayli desktop app, or import past transcripts in Sayli. A brief is ready a minute or two after a call ends.
Open in Sayli does nothing
The link opens the desktop app. Install Sayli on that computer and sign in to the same workspace.
The workspace is in HIPAA mode
A HIPAA-mode workspace keeps meeting content inside Sayli. It cannot be connected to ChatGPT.
Sayli paused answers for today
Written answers across all your meetings have a daily limit. It lifts at midnight UTC. Preparing for a call, reading a brief and reviewing commitments are not affected.
