Where your data lives

Your data is yours. This page is the short version of where it lives, how it is protected, and how to take it with you or remove it.

Where it lives

Your data runs on cloud infrastructure in the United States. Sayli relies on a small set of processors, grouped by what they do: speech-to-text, language-model inference, embeddings, vector search, web search, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, billing, analytics, and error reporting. Each sees only what its job requires. Web search is the one that can carry words derived from a call to a third party; see Privacy and security. What each one's terms allow, including anything about model training, goes out under the same NDA as the named list below.

The named list, with regions and what each one sees, goes to customers under a mutual NDA. Ask at privacy@sayli.ai, or as part of a signed DPA.

Encryption

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Nothing moves or sits in the clear.

Take it with you

Export from inside the app: Settings, then Privacy, then Download. Sayli builds one JSON file with your profile, your memberships, your meetings with their briefs, transcripts, and action items, and the questions you asked. It is scoped strictly to you, never to a colleague's calls.

Delete it for good

Delete a meeting and the delete cascades. The transcript, the brief, the recording, and everything derived from them go with it. A deleted account removes your data entirely. Deleted data can survive in encrypted backups for up to 35 days before it is overwritten.

Nothing expires on its own by default. What you keep stays until you remove it.

If you want the opposite, an Owner or Admin can set a transcript retention window for the whole workspace, on any plan, and a scheduled sweep then deletes transcripts older than it. It is off until somebody sets it.
