Open Settings, then Audio, before a call that matters. Thirty seconds here saves you a call where Sayli only heard half of it.

Pick and test your microphone

Choose your microphone from the list. Sayli uses it for your side of the call.

Then press Test your mic and say something. The meter rises as you speak, and you hear your own voice played back, so you know Sayli is hearing the device you picked. Headphones work best for this. Press Stop testing when you are done.

If you switch headphones or plug in another mic, come back and pick it again.

This checks your side only

The other side of the call arrives as system audio, on a separate path. The permission rows on the same screen show whether your system lets Sayli hear it. What that path needs depends on your operating system: see Permissions & setup.

Languages

Meeting language

The language you speak on your calls. Transcription tunes to it.

Sayli writes in

The language of your briefs, answers, and live suggestions. It can differ from the meeting language.

Both are yours, not the workspace's. See Languages for the 52 Sayli supports.

Small signals during a call

Sounds

A soft chime when a call wraps, and a tiny tone when you mark a moment.

Question prompts

When the other side asks you something, Sayli raises a hand. It never makes a sound, and it clears after 15 seconds.

Pace reminders

A quiet line when you have been carrying the conversation for a while. Dismiss one and it stays away for the rest of that call.
